Toronto Caribbean Carnival is not just the celebration of Caribbean culture, it's an acknowledgement of the full emancipation of slaves in Canada in 1838. The festival first started in 1967 to commemorate the new northern home for the Canadian Caribbean community.

The Toronto Argonauts teamed up with Indigenous Reconciliation Consultant, Laura McPhie to learn and celebrate Indigenous Heritage.
