Recap | Indigenous Culture Night: Celebrating Community and Heritage with the Toronto Argos
The Toronto Argonauts celebrated Indigenous Culture Night with a vibrant event dedicated to honouring Indigenous communities. The halftime show featured a dynamic performance by the Red Bear Singers and Indigenous Pow-wow dancers. Players wore orange jerseys in recognition of Orange Shirt Day as well as helmets featuring the new Indigenous-inspired logo, highlighting their commitment to honouring Indigenous culture throughout the game.
Toronto Argos Celebrate Toronto Caribbean Festival
Toronto Caribbean Carnival is not just the celebration of Caribbean culture, it's an acknowledgement of the full emancipation of slaves in Canada in 1838. The festival first started in 1967 to commemorate the new northern home for the Canadian Caribbean community.
